Ukraine expands EU partnerships for joint drone production
According to Novyny.live: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has unveiled an expanded collaboration with several European nations on unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) manufacturing. The agreements cover joint production of drones with Germany, the United Kingdom, Denmark, and the Netherlands, while new partnerships are being launched with Norway, Sweden, and France.
'We are already producing drones together with Germany, the UK, Denmark, and the Netherlands. We are starting this work with Norway, and we have reached agreements with Sweden and France. We have also signed relevant documents with Romania. Several other countries have corresponding documents with us,' Zelenskyy stated.
Additional agreements have been finalized with Romania and other nations. The announcement was made on March 20.
Outlook for cooperation
This deepening of Ukraine's drone production ties with European countries signals a push to bolster defense capabilities and advance technology amid ongoing security challenges. Joint UAV manufacturing is expected not only to strengthen Ukraine's defense posture but also to spur innovation in the aviation sector, a strategically vital industry.
