Zelensky criticizes ATACMS missile effectiveness
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky expressed his critical opinion regarding the effectiveness of the ATACMS ballistic missiles that Ukraine receives from the USA. He stated that these missiles are "useless" due to restrictions on their use.
"ATACMS in the form we have today are useless. If you cannot use them against their (Russians) military bases and military sites where there are helicopters or airplanes," Zelensky noted.
The president also emphasized that the quantity of missiles provided is very limited and compared this situation to the supply of HIMARS systems, pointing out that their quantity was three times greater initially. Zelensky stressed the need to increase the production and supply of weapons.
According to the president, despite increased production in the USA and Europe, this is not enough for the complete equipping of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
