He noted that while European funding was secured to purchase these missiles from the United States, the quantity remains inadequate. Zelenskyy stated: 'PAC-2 and PAC-3 missiles are not offensive weapons. We found money in Europe to buy them from the US, but we don't have enough. This is a problem because sanctions on Russia's military production were insufficient, and they can increase production of ballistic missiles.'

The president also called on Americans and Europeans to grant licenses for manufacturing Patriot system missiles. He emphasized the need to reduce Ukraine's air defense deficit, saying: 'We are on the path to creating a European anti-ballistic missile defense system. But that takes time.'
