Long-Range Strike Plan Successfully Executed

According to UATV: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has announced the successful completion of a long-range strike plan targeting Russia, which includes new operations and priority objectives. During a meeting held on July 26, 2023, it was noted that Ukrainian drones now have a range exceeding 3,000 kilometers, enabling strikes against key assets deep inside enemy territory. Since the plan’s implementation began, more than a thousand missions have been completed, hitting oil infrastructure, critical military production facilities, and vital Russian logistics nodes.

A Growing Problem for Russia

Zelenskyy highlighted that the strategic depth Russia once enjoyed in its rear areas is now turning into a particular challenge for its political and military leadership.

“The presence of strategic depth in the rear… is becoming an especially severe issue for Russia’s political and military leadership,” the president said.
He added that the core goal of these actions is to ensure that “long-range pressure pushes Russia even further toward diplomacy.”

Ukraine continues to execute a sanctions-based strategy aimed at increasing pressure on Moscow and creating conditions conducive to diplomatic negotiations. The success of this plan demonstrates the effectiveness of Ukrainian efforts in countering aggression and defending national interests. These operations could significantly alter Russia’s military strategy and operational capabilities, potentially shifting the conflict’s dynamics in the region. This context is part of Ukraine’s broader campaign to use domestically produced extended-range drones to degrade Russia’s war-fighting capacity from a distance.
