Zelensky and Sanchez discussed strengthening Ukrainian air defense and European integration.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky discussed the issues of strengthening air defense and cooperation with Prime Minister of Spain Pedro Sanchez. During the conversation, he expressed condolences to the Spanish people due to the floods and thanked them for their support of Ukraine in strengthening the air defense system.

Additionally, the President emphasized the need to establish additional air defense systems, especially in the context of Russian attacks on energy infrastructure. Zelensky also stated that Ukraine hopes to start negotiation processes regarding European integration by 2025.

After the meeting, the leaders agreed to hold a personal meeting in the near future.
