Zelensky and Trump exchanged symbolic gifts: what exactly did they give each other.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and American President Donald Trump had not only a substantive conversation during their meeting at the White House. The leaders presented each other with special gifts.

During the meeting in Washington, the President of Ukraine presented Trump with a golf club. It belonged to Junior Sergeant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Kostiantyn Kartavtsev. The soldier lost a leg in the early months of the full-scale Russian invasion while saving his comrades.

Trump: 'I gratefully accepted the gift and recorded a video message in which I thanked Kartavtsev.'

In return, the U.S. President handed Zelensky symbolic keys to the White House.

Moreover, Zelensky confirmed that Ukraine intends to purchase weapons from the U.S.
