Ukrainian President Holds Meeting on Energy Sector
According to UATV: On January 17, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy convened a meeting to address the state of the nation's energy sector in the wake of Russian attacks. During the meeting, he pinpointed the regions suffering the most severe energy disruptions. These include:
- Kyiv
- Kharkiv
- Zaporizhzhia
- Odesa
- Chernihiv Oblast
- Sumy Oblast
- Poltava Oblast
- Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Zelenskyy stated that the most critical situation is currently in Kyiv and its surrounding region, as well as in Kharkiv and Zaporizhzhia. He highlighted specific problems with electricity and heating in the capital, ordering a separate review of buildings in Kyiv that remain without heating. The president stressed the urgent need to resolve these issues.

Furthermore, Zelenskyy called for maximum acceleration of electricity imports into Ukraine and for securing additional equipment from international partners.
