Ukrainian President Meets with Latvian Parliamentary Speaker
According to UATV: On January 16, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with Daiga Mieriņa, the Speaker of the Latvian Saeima (parliament). Their discussions centered on critical issues including the peace process, defense programs, and Ukraine's integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.
Latvia has been a staunch supporter of Ukraine, providing assistance in both defense and humanitarian areas. Speaker Daiga Mieriņa underscored the importance of Ukraine's NATO membership, stating:
