According to UATV: On July 10, 2023—marking the 1,598th day since Russia’s full-scale invasion began—Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy revealed the latest outcomes of long-range strikes carried out by Ukraine’s military against targets inside Russia. In his address, he emphasized that these actions are part of a broader strategic campaign aimed at safeguarding Ukrainian citizens and ensuring national security.

Zelenskyy also confirmed the establishment of a new special command within the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Today I signed a decree creating a special command as part of the Armed Forces,” the president stated.

Creation of the Joint Rapid Response Forces

Additionally, Zelenskyy announced the formation of the Joint Rapid Response Forces.

“Today I signed a decree to establish the Joint Rapid Response Forces,” he noted.

“I spoke today with Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Voloshyn and assigned him to carry out this task,” Zelenskyy said.
