According to Espreso.tv: During his trip to Kyiv, U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham reaffirmed Washington's backing for Ukraine, stressing the urgency of fresh sanctions against Russia and the need for a diplomatic resolution to the war. Graham stated that President Donald Trump views Ukraine as a 'winner' and remains committed to supporting the country.
While in Ukraine, Graham revealed that an agreement had been reached with the White House on a new legislative package targeting Russia.
'We have reached an agreement with the White House on a version of the Russia sanctions bill that they will support,' he announced.According to the senator, the proposed law would grant President Trump the authority to impose tariffs and sanctions on nations purchasing Russian oil and gas.
'This bill... provides President Trump with the power to impose tariffs and sanctions on countries buying cheap Russian oil or gas,' Graham explained.

Graham also voiced optimism that the war could be resolved through diplomacy, saying: 'I hope to end this war through diplomatic means.'
