According to ТСН: President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced personnel changes in the composition of the Supreme Commander’s Headquarters. According to the new decree, new faces have joined the higher military leadership. Among them is Kyrylo Budanov, who now heads the Office of the President.

The corresponding decree has been published on the official website of the head of state.

New Composition of the Headquarters

The composition of the Supreme Commander’s Headquarters has been approved as follows:

  • Kyrylo Budanov - head of the Office of the President of Ukraine;

  • Oleh Ivashchenko - head of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine;

  • Serhiy Boyev - deputy minister of defense of Ukraine.

Serhiy Deyneka has been removed from the Headquarters. The changes were approved based on a proposal from the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine in accordance with the Law on Defense of Ukraine. The decree takes effect from the moment it is published.
