According to UATV: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed that the United States has issued a license allowing Ukraine to manufacture missiles for the Patriot air defense system. This milestone for the country’s defense capabilities was announced during the NATO summit on July 8, when U.S. President Donald Trump stated that Kyiv would be eligible to receive the necessary authorization.

Zelenskyy expressed gratitude to President Trump for the favorable decision, highlighting the significance of domestic Patriot production for Ukraine.

“President Trump repeatedly emphasized that currently only two or three countries in the world can produce the Patriot because others are not technologically ready,”

“The sooner we reach an agreement, the sooner we can start producing the Patriot.”
