Zelenskyy Confirms Strike on Russian Missile Guidance Factory in Bryansk.
Ukrainian Defense Forces' Operation
According to UATV: President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has confirmed that Ukrainian Defense Forces successfully struck a factory in Bryansk, Russia, on March 10. The facility was responsible for manufacturing guidance systems for all types of Russian missiles. Zelenskyy emphasized that the strikes were precisely targeted at military objectives only.
In a statement of gratitude, the Ukrainian President praised the country's military personnel:
“We can only congratulate our Armed Forces. Well done! Thank you for your service!”He also noted that the situation in the Sumy region remains stable, adding that “there are no risks today.”
Impact on Military Capabilities
This operation is part of Ukraine's broader strategic campaign to degrade the enemy's military-industrial capacity. Strikes on such high-value targets deep inside Russia have become a more frequent feature of the conflict, demonstrating Kyiv's growing reach.
The successful destruction of the Bryansk plant could significantly impair the Russian armed forces' ability to conduct offensive operations, as missile guidance systems are critical for their effectiveness. This proactive action also serves to bolster the morale of both Ukrainian troops and the general public.
The operation was carried out against the backdrop of a stable front in the Sumy region, allowing Ukrainian forces to concentrate efforts on other strategic directions.
