Zelensky after Syrskiy's report announced good results in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky published information about the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Oleksandr Syrskiy on his Telegram channel. According to the president, the most difficult situation remains in the Kurakhove and Pokrovsk directions, but in the Zaporizhzhia direction, the situation is approaching satisfactory.

The president also noted that Russia continues to suffer losses on its territory due to the actions of Ukrainian units. He expressed hope that the newly appointed commander of the Ground Forces Mykhailo Drapaty and Deputy Commander Oleh Apostol will positively impact the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It was also recorded that the Russian army is preparing for an offensive in the Zaporizhzhia region. The commander of the third operational brigade of the National Guard Oleksii Khilchenko reported the relocation and preparation of Russian units. Intelligence also informs about the readiness of Russian troops to storm the city of Zaporizhzhia, but Ukrainian commanders have different opinions on this matter.

The government allocated 1.3 billion UAH for the construction of fortifications in the Zaporizhzhia region. A tender has already been announced for the construction, and several contracts for the construction of facilities have already been concluded. The number of contracts does not reflect the actual number of fortification objects, but is evidence of serious work in this direction.
