Zelensky and Trump to Meet in January: What the Leaders Will Discuss.
According to ТСН: Another meeting is scheduled for January between the Presidents of Ukraine and the USA, Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump, to discuss a peace plan.
The Ukrainian president shared this with reporters during a briefing. He noted that negotiations will begin tomorrow with representatives of European countries' general staffs that support Ukraine regarding security guarantees. According to Zelensky, these negotiations will last a day or two.
“After that, I think we will be preparing for the leaders' meeting in the US on a broader level. We would like all of this to happen in January, by the end of January,” Zelensky stated.
Let us remind you that on December 28, the sixth meeting between Volodymyr Zelensky and Donald Trump took place in Florida in 2025. After this meeting, the US ambassador to NATO, Matthew Whitaker, stated that negotiations regarding Ukraine are in a decisive phase. He emphasized that only US President Donald Trump can propose representatives from Kyiv and Moscow for negotiations.
High-level meetings between Ukraine and the USA continue to demonstrate the importance of cooperation between the two countries in addressing security issues. The coming days will undoubtedly influence the further development of events in the region and may open new possibilities for the peaceful resolution of the conflict.
