Zelensky Showed the Drone-Missile 'Palyanytsia'.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky announced on his official Telegram channel the successful combat use of the new Ukrainian weapon - the long-range drone-missile 'Palyanytsia'.
The President noted that Ukraine needs to counter attacks from Russia. One way to achieve this is to strike Russian aircraft at military airfields.
"Yesterday saw the first successful combat use of our new weapon - the Ukrainian long-range drone-missile 'Palyanytsia'. It was developed independently to destroy the offensive potential of the enemy," Zelensky said.
According to the information, 'Palyanytsia' is launched from a ground platform and is equipped with a turbojet engine. It has the advantage of relatively low cost compared to its counterparts.
Although details about the technical characteristics of 'Palyanytsia' are classified, it is known that within its range are approximately 20 Russian military airfields hosting aircraft that attack Ukraine.
"The number of drone-missiles will increase just as the number of our long-range strike drones has increased, the results of which we see almost every day," Zelensky noted.
