According to UATV: On March 17, 2023, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy landed in London for high-stakes meetings with King Charles III, UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The trip involved discussions at multiple venues, including Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street.
During his engagements, Zelenskyy stressed the critical role of British support for Ukraine.
“Our priorities are clear: more security and more opportunities for Ukraine. I thank the UK for its assistance and partnership in protecting lives,”he stated. In addition to these talks, the president is set to address the UK Parliament, underscoring the significance of his visit and the international backing Ukraine seeks amid ongoing challenges.
Strengthening Bilateral Ties
