Who will head the Ternopil OVA
According to decree No. 45/2026, Taras Pastukh has been appointed as the head of Ternopil Regional State Administration.
"Appoint Pastukh Taras Tymofiyovych as head of Ternopil Regional State Administration,"— states the decree.
Who will head the Volyn OVA
Meanwhile, by decree No. 44/2026, the president appointed an acting head for Volyn region. The duties of the head of Volyn OVA (Regional State Administration) have been assigned to Roman Romaniuk, who will perform these duties until a permanent head of the administration is appointed.
Previously, Ivan Rudnytsky was the head of OVA, but by decree No. 43/2026 he was dismissed from this position. According to the new decree No. 46/2026, Volodymyr Zelensky appointed him as the deputy head of the Security Service of Ukraine.
"Appoint Rudnytsky Ivan Lvivovych as Deputy Head of the Security Service of Ukraine,"— states the document.
It should be noted that earlier it was reported about new heads of OVA in five regions of Ukraine.
The president also initiated serious personnel changes in politics and intelligence services since the beginning of the year.
Personnel changes in regional administrations are happening against a backdrop of overall activation of reforms and updates in the state apparatus. This may indicate the president's intentions to ensure more effective management in the regions and strengthen control over the implementation of state programs. It remains to be seen how the new heads will manage their responsibilities and what initiatives they will propose for the development of their regions.
