President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that he has not communicated with his former partner from 'Kvartal 95', Timur Mindich, since the start of the corruption investigation. He shared this in an interview with Bloomberg.

“The most important thing is the sentences for those who are guilty,” said Zelensky. “The president of a country that is at war cannot have friends.”

Corruption Investigation

The 'Kvartal 95' company reported that the case of Timur Mindich has no relation to the activities of the studio, its content, or its team. He became a figure in the investigation and was included in the 'Peacemaker' database due to possible involvement in financial schemes that threaten the defense and energy sectors of Ukraine during the aggression from Russia and Belarus.

The NABU and SAP revealed a criminal organization that included current and former officials from the energy sector, a well-known businessman, and other individuals. These individuals created a large-scale corruption scheme that affected the activities of strategic state enterprises, particularly the State Atomic Energy Corporation 'Energoatom'.
