Zaporizhzhia suffered from a Russian airstrike, resulting in the destruction of a residential building and damage to an oncology hospital. This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky.
According to the head of state, Russian forces carried out an airstrike on the city, resulting in the destruction of not only a multi-apartment building but also private houses. In addition, the building of the oncology hospital was damaged.

According to the data, one person died, and several were injured. All the victims are being provided with the necessary assistance. President Zelensky stated that such attacks erase any sense of negotiations with Russia, as they derive pleasure from the death of people.
The President also expressed gratitude to international partners for their assistance in providing air defense systems, which he called "real protection of life".
