Zelenskyy pointed out that while Ukraine has already deployed a variety of air defense systems, their effectiveness is heavily dependent on missile availability. He expressed deep concern over the immense difficulty in securing essential aid packages, stating:

“It takes such effort, blood, people's lives, and so on—to fight for these packages, when you know how much is in storage, in which country, how much of all this there is, that it's just sitting there.” - Volodymyr Zelenskyy
