The situation at the front
According to inkorr.com: President Volodymyr Zelensky during a meeting with journalists talked about the tense situation in the Pokrovsk direction, where Russian troops number about 100 thousand soldiers. Ukrainian forces are actively operating in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions, where the enemy is experiencing significant difficulties.
In the Sumy direction, Ukrainian units are gradually pushing back Russian troops. In the Zaporizhzhia region, the situation is stable but remains tense due to the presence of Russian paratroopers.
International negotiations and security guarantees
Today we have heavy weapons and they are located 10+ km apart, as everything is targeted by drones. If Russia wants to have a greater distance, it should retreat deeper into the occupied territories.
Zelensky highlighted three key aspects of security guarantees for Ukraine: stable funding for the army and the supply of weapons, agreements with European countries and NATO for responding to aggression, and sanctions against the Russian Federation.
Diplomatic efforts
The Ukrainian delegation is holding negotiations in several countries, and meetings at the leaders' level are planned in the near future to discuss security guarantee issues.
Earlier, Zelensky spoke about the Russian missile attack on Kyiv and a joint strike against him and Donald Trump.
During a conversation with journalists, the President of Ukraine emphasized the difficult situation at the front, highlighting the activity of Ukrainian troops and stability in certain areas.
