Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Brussels on December 19, where he will meet with leading European leaders. The meeting is organized by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. The visit's agenda includes a joint session and separate negotiations with the leaders of the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Italy, and Poland.
The main topic of the negotiations will be the discussion of support for Ukraine in the context of Russian aggression. The meeting will have a political character and is aimed at developing a strategy for the near future. It is worth noting that Zelensky has already discussed this visit to Brussels with Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez.
Regarding the possibility of peace negotiations between Ukraine and Russia, Mark Rutte noted that they are taking place without Putin's participation and calls for a reasonable approach, emphasizing the importance of a strong negotiation position for Ukraine.
