According to Espreso.tv: Volodymyr Zelenskyy has shared the outcomes of a meeting with military commanders, where the focus was on frontline conditions, unit resourcing, and the urgent demand for drones. The discussion took place on Telegram, with participation from the following commanders:
- Andriy Biletskyi
- Robert Brovda
- Denys Prokopenko
- Ihor Obolenskyi
- Andriy Tkachuk
- Valeriy Skred
Frontline Situation and Personnel Changes
The meeting placed special emphasis on the current state of the front in the Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. The president expressed gratitude to the commanders for their performance. Zelenskyy stated that
“the key is that Ukrainian frontline positions must be as strong as necessary to protect the independence and national interests of our state in the world and in diplomatic efforts”and stressed that
“it is technological capability that saves the lives of our soldiers and brings this war home—to Russia”.
During the discussions, the need for a larger-scale supply of drones was raised, highlighting its critical role in sustaining combat operations. The president emphasized the importance of making further decisions. A personnel allocation program has been in place since December of last year, reflecting a systematic approach to managing military units.
In addition to frontline matters, the meeting also saw changes in government leadership. Serhiy Koretskyi was appointed Prime Minister, and Yevhen Khmara was named Acting Minister of Defense. Zelenskyy noted that “decisions will be made,” indicating an active process of reform and adaptation of state structures to the realities of modern warfare.
This gathering underscores the significance of technological innovation in military operations, particularly the use of drones, which has become increasingly relevant in the conflict.
