Zelensky: Russia must feel the consequences of the escalation of war.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky stated in his evening address that receiving new support from international partners is very important, especially after Russia used a new missile against Ukraine.
According to the head of state, Denmark has provided almost one billion crowns for the Ukrainian defense industry. Norway has already transferred the first tranche under the Danish model to support weapons production in Ukraine, and Sweden has also joined this initiative.
'The United States of America has provided funding of 275 million dollars, which includes munitions for 'HIMARS', 'Javelins', drones, and mines that we urgently need to defend our positions, especially in Donetsk,' Zelensky noted.
The president also highlighted a new aid package from Germany and NASAMS air defense systems from Canada.
Separately, Zelensky emphasized the importance of new American sanctions against the Russian banking sector. 'This significantly weakens Putin's system, and it is even more necessary,' he stressed.
According to the president, the SBU and the Ministry of Internal Affairs showed fragments of a Russian missile that hit Dnipro. Currently, an examination and work with partners is ongoing to establish all details regarding this missile.
