Zelensky replaces Putin: a dream come true

President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about the ultimatum from Russian dictator Vladimir Putin, which stated that Viktor Medvedchuk was supposed to become the president of Ukraine in 2022. He provided this information during a forum in Davos.

'There are no Turkish negotiations because I am the president, I am the negotiator, and in Russia, he is the negotiator – Putin. So I never met with Putin in Turkey,' Zelensky stated, responding to a question about the 'Istanbul agreements'.

Zelensky also noted that in the early days of the invasion, people came to him with documents and handed over the ultimatum from Putin.

'It was the same letter, with some changes, in Turkey. They stated that I must resign, and they would put the pro-Russian Medvedchuk in my place. So I am no longer the president. For me, this is not a problem, our people will vote. This is not the goal. All of Donbas is Russia, we must acknowledge this. Then we must recognize the Russian language, hold a vote, and amend the Constitution so that we have a neutral status, reduce the army to 50,000. Then we must eliminate all armed systems, artillery, everything that is within 20 km, we must destroy and hand it over to them. So there were no negotiations, this is an ultimatum from a killer,' Zelensky said.

The president emphasized that one cannot assert that 'we had any negotiations since all three times there were ultimatums from Putin'.

Furthermore, Zelensky noted that 'he sent those people'. After that, the Belarusian side wanted to agree on something, but again presented an ultimatum.

'Then in Turkey, they wanted to organize something, and President Erdogan asked me: 'Please, let them sit down and talk'. I said: 'Okay, if you want, they will talk.' They came and again presented the ultimatum,' the Ukrainian leader emphasized.
