According to ТСН: During a phone call with the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, the President of the United States, Donald Trump, discussed all 20 points of the peace plan.

This was reported by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky. He noted:

“Well, first of all, President Trump told me that it was a long conversation with Putin, and he discussed all 20 points of the plan - point by point. And I thanked him for that.”

Zelensky emphasized the importance of all parties being on the same page and that Trump and Putin are discussing exactly this document with 20 points and not others. “He (Trump - Ed.) said what Putin is willing to do. I don't want to go into details now, but I told the President that this is very important for us. It's not the first time that Putin says something but does other things,” Zelensky added.

Meeting in Florida and Trump's initiatives

Let us remember that Donald Trump had a phone call with Putin before his meeting with Zelensky in Florida, during which the Kremlin dictator supported the US President's initiative to create special working groups to resolve the war in Ukraine. The first group will focus on security issues, the second on economic problems. The Kremlin insisted on a “political agreement” regarding Donbass as a key condition for a ceasefire.

Trump also stated that Putin is allegedly interested in Ukraine's success and offers energy sources at low prices. However, the US President acknowledged that the dictator refused to observe the ceasefire for a referendum because he fears a reshuffling of forces.

This phone call confirms the continuation of diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine. Both presidents are still looking for ways to achieve a peaceful settlement despite the difficulties and unpredictability of the situation. It is important that this dialogue not only continues but also yields concrete results for the stabilization of the region.
