Zelensky: The power of weapons and diplomacy work effectively only together.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky held a meeting on the results of his visit to the USA and the meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff. He stated this in his evening address on September 30.
According to the head of state, Ukrainian and American teams are already working on the results of negotiations in New York and Washington. A special "Ramstein" format meeting is also being prepared, the President noted.
Zelensky emphasized the importance of combining military and diplomatic strength to implement the "Victory Plan." He also announced the signing of the 27th security agreement for Ukraine.
At the Staff meeting, issues of brigade staffing, provision of weapons and equipment were discussed. Separately, with Defense Minister Umerov, the fulfillment of contracts and the work of institutions within the Ministry of Defense were reviewed.
The President had a lengthy conversation with the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Syrskyi and Chief of the General Staff Barylevych regarding the situation at the front. Zelensky stressed the need to pressure Russia "by all means" to achieve a "real and just peace for Ukraine."
At the end of his address, the President called for maximum effort before the "Ramstein" format meeting, emphasizing that achieving goals depends on everyone in Ukraine's team.
