Zelensky and Budanov discussed new sanctions against the Russian Federation: what will change.

According to ТСН: The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, met with the new head of the President's Office, Kyrylo Budanov. During the meeting, important issues were discussed, including the adaptation of the sanctions policy to the conditions of war and the results of international meetings of the head of the President's Office.

New levers of pressure on the Russian Federation

One of the key topics was the issue of sanctions policy. The President emphasized that Ukraine not only plans to maintain pressure on the aggressor but also intends to introduce new methods of influence.

“All areas of pressure on Russia and related individuals must be maintained and adapted to changing realities of wartime. We will strengthen the sanctions toolkit,”

Kyrylo Budanov also informed the President about the results of his applications within the framework of diplomatic negotiations. After the meeting, a number of priority tasks and issues that require urgent resolution in Ukraine were identified.
