Ukrainian President’s Visit to Brussels

According to UATV: On June 18, 2023, during his trip to Brussels, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held one-on-one meetings with the prime ministers of Greece, Slovakia, and Poland. Their discussions centered on critical topics including military aid, Ukraine’s European integration, and humanitarian support.

In his meeting with Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, the conversation focused on military assistance. Zelenskyy also expressed gratitude to Poland for its steadfast support since the onset of Russia’s full-scale invasion, stating that

“this is truly vital for our region and for all of Europe”
.

At the same time, the leaders highlighted the importance of humanitarian aid from Slovakia, particularly regarding the delivery of medical equipment to a hospital in the Vinnytsia region, as reported by the Office of the President. Ukraine’s path toward European integration was also a key topic in Zelenskyy’s talks with his counterparts.
