At Munich, Zelenskyy Warns Slow Western Aid Is Making the War More Dangerous.
Ukrainian President's Grave Warning
According to TSN.ua: Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed deep concern over shifting war risks and the evolution of weaponry, highlighting that slow international aid deliveries are a critical factor. He stressed that with each passing day of the conflict, the aggressor gains more resources, leading to increasingly perilous consequences for the region and beyond.
'The longer the war goes on, the more resources the aggressor acquires, the more dangerous the consequences become, the more perilous the evolution of weapons and the war itself, and the more dangerous Putin's own evolution becomes,' Zelenskyy said.
Address to the Munich Security Conference
Speaking at the Munich Security Conference, the president also focused on new military technologies, specifically 'Shahed'-type attack drones now being equipped with jet engines. These advancements in armament are causing serious alarm both in Ukraine and internationally. Zelenskyy called for more urgent action, stating: 'Anyone who desires security and peace must understand that every single day matters.'
Furthermore, the president addressed Donald Trump, emphasizing the crucial importance of a united effort in countering aggression. The situation in Ukraine remains severe, and consistent international support is vital for ensuring stability and security in the region. His speech underscores that the war is not static but is rapidly evolving in dangerous new directions.
Zelenskyy's appearance at the Munich Security Conference highlights not only the ongoing reality of Russian aggression but also the pressing need for swift action from the global community. As the conflict persists, Ukraine faces novel challenges, including advancements in military technology that demand a faster response and increased aid volumes from its partners. This dynamic could significantly influence future security strategies both in the region and on a global scale.
