The budget has allocated resources to increase military personnel pay. The minister stated that the minimum payment for soldiers stationed in rear areas will be 30,000 hryvnias. Meanwhile, the average payout for troops on the front line will reach approximately 300,000 hryvnias. New contracts for infantry soldiers are planned, with durations of 10, 14, and 24 months. The first adjustments could take effect as early as June, pending Cabinet of Ministers approval. In June 2026, Ukrainian service members will receive their May salaries along with additional combat payments.
