Zelensky reacted to calls for mobilization from the age of 18.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the main task is to supply missiles and reduce Russia's military potential, rather than lowering the conscription age in Ukraine. He emphasized the need to focus on equipping brigades with equipment and training personnel for its use. The priority is to save lives, not to keep weapons in warehouses, - said the head of state.
Zelensky also stressed that the most important thing is the joint work towards ending the war. He expressed gratitude to President Macron for organizing the meeting in Paris and to President Trump for his position on ending the conflict. Zelensky believes that the unity of America, Europe, and the whole world who value security is necessary for a successful end to the war.
The President also noted that only determination can lead to a just resolution of the war between Russia and Ukraine. He states that Putin fears only President Trump and possibly China. Zelensky called for decisive actions to restore the proper international order.
