Zelensky visited the site of the Russian strike in Kyiv: honored the victims and thanked the rescuers.
On Friday, August 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky personally visited the site of the Russian strike on a residential building in Kyiv. He honored the memory of the victims and expressed condolences to their families with flowers. This information was confirmed by the 'TSN' television channel.

The head of state also thanked the rescuers who took part in the search and rescue operations. Zelensky laid flowers at the memorial near the building that was damaged by the shelling and emphasized the need to prevent similar tragedies in the future.
Let us remind you that as a result of the attack by the Russian Federation on the civilian population in Kyiv, 31 people were killed, including 5 children, and another 159 people were injured. An investigation into this tragedy and the identification of those responsible for the crime is currently underway.
