The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, expressed his position regarding Ukrainians who left the country after the start of the military conflict with Russia, stating that Ukraine does not intend to pressure them to return to their homeland.

During an interview with Northern European journalists, the president said that Ukraine seeks help from refugees and counts on their active participation in rebuilding the country.

Zelensky noted that the state will not force citizens to return but urges Ukrainians abroad to become active and join the support for Ukraine, particularly by working in the defense industry, paying taxes, and enlisting for military service.

According to the president, each family has its own story and various reasons for leaving the country, especially when it comes to retirees, children, and families of fallen soldiers.

It is worth noting that earlier Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the USA and China on the issue of military aid to North Korea.
