Additional leave for our warriors
On Thursday, July 31, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced that our military will receive an additional 15 days of leave. This came after the adoption of a law that provides necessary funding for the Armed Forces.
He stated this in a statement published on Telegram.
Zelensky also reported that the government has ensured sufficient funding for military equipment, payments to soldiers and their families. He agreed with the military command to provide an additional 15 days of leave. The changes are set to take effect in August.
'This day was indeed productive and important for our military, and it is felt,' he emphasized.
It should also be mentioned that Zelensky signed a law on the restoration of the independence of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau and the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office. Today, 331 Members of Parliament voted for this law.
After the law on funding the Armed Forces and providing additional leave for soldiers was passed, Ukrainian military personnel will have more opportunities to recover and rest, which will undoubtedly increase their effectiveness in carrying out assigned tasks.Read also
