Zelensky: Russia's losses equal mobilization, the occupiers' army is not growing

According to ТСН: The aggressor Russian Federation is currently not demonstrating significant success on the battlefield. The number of soldiers joining the occupying army is not increasing.

This information was voiced by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky in an interview with Fox News.

"They have no successful outcomes. We must understand this. The number of their soldiers is decreasing. After all, it was increasing until this year. They were mobilizing 43 thousand people every month. They were signing contracts. This year for the first time, the number of mobilized people and the number of irrevocable losses have become absolutely the same, " emphasized the head of state.

Zelensky emphasized that this situation indicates that the size of the Russian occupying army is no longer increasing. The President also expressed hope that next year it would be possible to completely stop the war.

"We hope that in 2026 we can completely end this war. Otherwise, Putin will decide to mobilize people. Now he is forced to conclude contracts because his people do not support mobilization. He will have problems with society, " Zelensky stated.

Also, according to him, the American side can significantly accelerate the process of achieving peace.

The President noted that Ukraine cannot give up its territories. This issue remains the most complicated in negotiations regarding the cessation of war, as Kyiv's and Moscow's positions significantly diverge.

Zelensky claims that the majority of Ukrainians support the initiative for peace but oppose withdrawing troops from Donbas in exchange for peace. This issue makes territorial disputes a key difficulty in negotiations. He cited the results of sociological surveys that demonstrate a desire to achieve peace while simultaneously being unwilling to concede territories.

Thus, the situation at the front and Ukraine's position remain complicated and tense. The support of international partners remains important for achieving stable peace, as well as taking into account the opinion of Ukrainian society in future negotiations. The prospects for ending the war depend not only on military actions but also on diplomatic efforts that can help resolve territorial disputes.
