Land auctions: prices increased up to 36 times on the most popular plots.

The State Property Fund announced that the working group of the 'Land Bank' has summed up the results of the first pool of land.
A total of 90.9 thousand hectares of agricultural land have been re-registered. Since October 1 of last year, the first online auctions in the 'Prozorro.Sales' system have begun. So far, 427 auctions have been held, 225 contracts have been signed, and 428.21 million hryvnias have been paid. The average price per hectare is 30.1 thousand hryvnias, and the size of the plots ranges from 1 to 4 thousand hectares. In addition, a website with an interactive map has been created to help farmers forecast and calculate land plots. Some of the most successful auctions of the first pool were:
a land plot of 49.81 hectares, where the price increased from 64.8 thousand hryvnias to 2 million hryvnias before VAT, which corresponds to an increase of 36.9 times. 17 participants competed for the right to use it.
a land plot of 588.6 hectares, where the price increased from 1.9 million hryvnias to 20 million hryvnias before VAT, which corresponds to an increase of 12.8 times. 12 participants competed for the right to use it.
a land plot of 38.3 hectares, where the price increased from 170 thousand hryvnias to 1.27 million hryvnias before VAT, which corresponds to an increase of 7.4 times. 51 participants competed for the right to use it.
'Analyzing the year of work, we see a large number of participants. In central regions, where there is high demand, about 40 people want to lease one land plot. This is a good result, as transparent competition increases the price for the right to use the land, and thus the state budget receives more funds,' said the General Director of the State Land Bank LLC, Yaroslav Yaroslavsky. The second pool of land will consist of 2,479 plots with a total area of 206,382 hectares in 23 regions of Ukraine. Our goal is to achieve maximum filling of the state budget. The strategic task for 2025 is 1 billion hryvnias. The criteria for forming the second pool of land are:
- livestock lands;
- registered and divided plots;
- plots on which 'legal regulations' are being carried out (removal of arrests and encumbrances, registration of property rights to land);
- plots used by enterprises of other management bodies.
The first auctions of the second pool are planned for the second half of this year.
