According to inkorr.com: On September 28, 2025, an earthquake with a magnitude of 3.0 on the Richter scale was recorded in Striy, Lviv region. According to specialists from the Main Center for Special Monitoring, the shocks occurred at a depth of four kilometers.
Experts assessed the earthquake as weakly perceptible and confirmed that it does not pose a threat to the population and infrastructure.
In the province of Kütahya in western Turkey, an earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 on the Richter scale occurred on September 28 at 12:59 local time. The epicenter was located at a depth of 8.46 km in the Simav area.

According to the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority of Turkey (AFAD), over 250 aftershocks with a magnitude of 1 to 4.5 have been recorded in this area. The earthquake was felt by residents of Istanbul, Uşak, Balıkesir, Bursa, and Bilecik.
