Train Collision with Truck in Smolensk Region: Two Injured.
According to inkorr.com: A road traffic accident occurred at a railway crossing in the Smolensk region when a truck collided with a locomotive. Fortunately, according to media reports, no one was killed, but two individuals sustained moderate injuries.
The driver tried to avoid the accident, but was unable to prevent the collision. The train driver and his assistant were injured and hospitalized with moderate injuries.
At this moment, fire services were extinguishing a fire in six cars that were carrying fuel and lubricants. More than 40 specialists and 10 units of equipment were dispatched to the scene of the incident. Train traffic in the area of the accident has been temporarily halted.
