Media Investigated "Disability" of Khmelnytsky Prosecutors and Identified When the Phenomenon Became Widespread.

In connection with the prosecution reform conducted by Petro Poroshenko and Ruslan Riaboshapka, a scandal arose regarding the mass establishment of disability for prosecutors from Khmelnytsky region. This is reported by the publication "Zakon i biznes", which analyzed all the data. The investigation revealed that most of the 67 prosecutors from Khmelnytsky region formalized their disability specifically in the period from 2017 to 2019.
It is noted that this was a consequence of the prosecution reforms carried out by Yuriy Lutsenko and Ruslan Riaboshapka. According to the publication's calculations, such a large number of prosecutors with disabilities became possible after numerous commissions and public councils with the participation of international representatives and activists were created within law enforcement agencies.
It is worth noting that Lutsenko held the position of Prosecutor General from 2016 to 2019, and Riaboshapka became the head of the Prosecutor General's Office after the elections in 2019, representing non-governmental organizations and civil society.
However, half a year into this position, Riaboshapka was dismissed due to distrust and inefficiency.
The publication also provides a list of 67 prosecutors from Khmelnytsky region with detailed dates of disability determination. According to this list, it is evident that the mass establishment of disability became widespread in the period from 2017 to 2019. Prosecutors were granted the second group of disability indefinitely or for a term of 3 years, after which they were successfully re-evaluated.
