Ukrainian Armed Forces deny capture of Pokrovsk: Russian tricolors are being destroyed.

Situation on the Front

According to ТСН: The command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine denies the information from the aggressor country about the 'capture' of the cities of Pokrovsk and Vovchansk, considering it another attempt by the Kremlin to misinform participants of international negotiations. The defense forces continue active operations in difficult sections of the front, holding important positions and inflicting significant losses on the enemy.

On the Pokrovsk direction in the Donetsk region, the defense forces control the northern part of the city along the railway. Search and assault operations are underway to eliminate enemy strongholds. The enemy is suffering significant losses: over the course of a day, Ukrainian warriors eliminated 104 occupiers.

Our units have also been noted for eliminating a group that raised the Russian flag in one of the areas of the city under the cover of fog. To support our defense capabilities, our military is organizing additional logistical routes in the areas of Pokrovsk and Myrnohrad, providing everything necessary at the positions.

Tension in the Vovchansk Direction

In the Vovchansk direction in the Kharkiv region, the situation remains tense. The enemy continues to attempt to advance in this populated area, using small infantry groups, strike drones, and artillery. However, Ukrainian defenders are successfully holding their positions. Defensive actions are also ongoing in the Kupiansk direction.

“The demonstrative missions of the Russians with tricolors mean only one thing for the occupiers – they will be destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” the General Staff noted.

The Ukrainian military also reported the accumulation of Russian forces in Pokrovsk, taking advantage of the thick fog that prevailed over the city. Such weather conditions complicated the work of aerial reconnaissance, as limited visibility does not allow for effective detection and destruction of the enemy.

These events illustrate the tense situation on the front, where Ukrainian military continues to fight for every inch of territory. The efforts of the defense forces, despite the difficulties, indicate their determination and professionalism in defending Ukraine from aggression.
