Ukrainian military authorities have noticed soldiers from North Korea in the Kharkiv direction, who are likely preparing for offensive actions. This was reported by the commander of the combined unit of the 153rd mechanized brigade, Nazar Kishiak 'Sheriff'.

'We see that there are already North Korean military personnel in our direction. I cannot say more, but I see they are being distributed into units and are already gathering small forces on the front line,' he stated.

The commander of the combined unit believes that the enemy is anticipating worsening weather conditions for conducting offensive actions.

Recall that recently President Volodymyr Zelensky stated that the number of North Korean troops stationed on Russian territory has reached 11 thousand, but this number could soon increase to 100 thousand soldiers.

At the same Time, the Russian army has been gathering forces for several months for a future counteroffensive to push the Armed Forces of Ukraine out of Russian territory. However, the size of the Russian military grouping in the Kursk region is not critical, as noted in the report by the Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
