AFU advanced another 3 km in Kursk region – Syrsky.
According to the report of the Commander-in-Chief of the AFU Oleksandr Syrsky, the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced a distance of 1 to 3 km in the Kursk region. The troops continue offensive battles.
According to him, in some directions there is an advance towards the enemy, and active combat is ongoing along the entire front line. The commander-in-chief emphasized that the situation is under control.
Oleksandr Syrsky also informed President Volodymyr Zelensky that Major General Eduard Moskalev has started to fulfill the duties of the commandant of the Kursk region.

According to Syrsky, fighting continues in the area of Maly Lokni, where the capture of many prisoners is expected.
A military commandant's office was also established in the territory of the Kursk region controlled by Ukraine. According to Syrsky, the AFU control 82 settlements and have advanced 35 km, covering an area of more than a thousand square kilometers of Russian territory.
