AFU: The situation in the Kursk region is changing hourly.
A Ukrainian serviceman spoke about the situation on the front in the Kursk region
Kirill Sazonov, a serviceman of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said that the situation on the front in the Kursk region is constantly changing. He noted that there is no continuous front line, but the military with their units are trying to maintain the initiative.
According to him, sometimes units break through, and sometimes they repel enemy attacks. Currently, Russia poses a significant threat, having concentrated about 50,000 troops in this direction.
The Commander-in-Chief of the AFU, Oleksandr Syrskyi, also visited military units in Sumy and the Kursk region. He made decisions aimed at preventing the enemy's actions and inflicting maximum losses on them.
In the Kursk region, Ukrainian paratroopers destroyed a unit of Russian marines. The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) also reported that the occupiers are actively operating in Donetsk and advancing in the Kursk region. According to ISW analysts, the AFU has partial success in the Kupyansk direction.
The control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine over part of the Kursk region prompts Russia to conduct more frequent exchanges of prisoners of war with Ukraine, as noted in the ISW report.
