According to UATV: On June 15, Ukraine's Defense Forces engaged in 192 clashes and successfully pushed back Russian attacks on the islands of Aleksieievskyi, Kruhlyk, Korabelov, and Potemkinskyi. This highlights the intense fighting in the area between Kherson and Oleshky. Following overnight battles on June 15, the following Russian equipment was destroyed:
- 5 Russian tanks,
- 10 armored vehicles,
- 72 artillery systems and 2 multiple rocket launchers,
- 1 air defense system, and
- 424 units of enemy automotive equipment.
Enemy losses and the region's strategic importance
As of June 15, Ukrainian troops have eliminated 2,314 Russian unmanned aerial vehicles. Over the previous day, 1,320 Russian occupiers were neutralized. Since the start of the full-scale invasion, the Russian Federation's army has suffered losses exceeding 1,384,000 personnel.
