Russia escalates assaults on three fronts with 213 clashes in a single day.
Frontline update
According to UATV: Over the past 24 hours, 213 combat engagements were recorded on the battlefield. Russian occupation forces intensified their attacks along the Lyman, Pokrovsk, and Hulyaipole axes, deploying a wide range of weapon systems.
On June 15, 2023, Russian troops carried out 81 airstrikes, dropping 244 guided aerial bombs. Additionally, they launched 9,752 kamikaze drones. Throughout the day, 3,131 shelling incidents targeted Ukrainian settlements and military positions, including 70 strikes from multiple launch rocket systems.
Losses and consequences
According to sources, the following were destroyed as a result of the fighting:
- 1,320 Russian occupiers
- 400 units of automotive equipment
- 72 artillery systems
- 5 tanks
Additionally, 14 areas of concentrated enemy personnel were identified, where the most intense combat is taking place.
It is important to note that Russian forces have suffered significant losses in both equipment and manpower, which may affect the conflict's future trajectory. As fighting continues, Ukrainian forces remain steadfast in defending their positions and launching counterstrikes.
The situation on the front remains tense, as the escalation in hostilities signals Russian forces' intent to sustain their offensive operations.
