The Ministry of Defense is starting to use a digital rating of commanders' effectiveness. They will report their achievements using the 'Army+' app. This information was reported by Deputy Defense Minister Kateryna Chernohorets.

The resolution supported by the government allows commanders to submit reports in 'Army+'. This takes just a few minutes.

'The most important thing is that reports can be submitted without any paperwork. It is possible to attach confirmation from the combat system Delta. All information will reach the General Staff, will be protected, encrypted, and secure,' she wrote.

The Ministry of Defense plans to create a single control panel that will display the effectiveness of the fight against the enemy. This will help analyze the effectiveness of units and the entire army as a whole.

'Reports will help assess not only the effectiveness of the military but also the equipment and ammunition. Moreover, this will allow better understanding of what weapons need to be produced and supplied first. This is a real revolution and a push for significant changes in the military, where decisions are made based on data, not intuition,' the deputy minister stated.

We remind you that the Chief Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defense will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the leadership of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The inspection will include an analysis of structure and powers, an assessment of the effectiveness of management processes, and compliance with legislation.

Based on the results of the inspection, the Ministry of Defense will reform the management system and personnel policy of the Ground Forces, optimize management processes, and strengthen the readiness of units through new training approaches.

We remind you that during 2024, the Armed Forces of Ukraine reduced the number of the Russian army by 430,790 personnel. This roughly corresponds to the number of 36 motorized infantry divisions of the ground forces. The enemy suffered significant losses in 2024 compared to 2022 and 2023.

By the way, individuals with a master's level higher education and managerial experience in civilian life may be granted leadership positions in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, including the rank of colonel. This was reported by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky.
