Ukrainian troops successfully pushed back Russian military assaults in several sectors, particularly around Lyman and Pokrovsk. Casualty Figures and Combat Details
In the Lyman direction, Ukrainian personnel eliminated 43 Russian soldiers and destroyed over 20 pieces of military hardware. The previous day, March 19, saw Ukrainian forces neutralize 1,610 Russian occupiers, underscoring the intensity of ongoing operations. The following equipment was destroyed during these engagements:
- three tanks
- 21 armored vehicles
- 31 artillery systems
- 245 units of automotive equipment
- four pieces of specialized machinery
The commander of Ukraine's Naval Forces also confirmed that Ukrainian troops struck a Russian boat in the Black Sea. Against this backdrop, Major General Malomuzh commented:
