The spread information about the 'incursion' into the defense lines of the Ukrainian defenders is false, said brigade spokesman Andriy Polukhin.

"The situation there is as follows: as we said earlier, Russian small infantry groups enter there. They enter and do not come out because they are blocked by our drone control. The occupiers are there temporarily, our guys immediately knock them out from there... That is, it cannot be called a consolidation or incursion, just some movement along the defense line," said Polukhin.

Earlier, a representative of the 24th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after King Danylo, Ivan Petrychak, stated that Russian forces managed to 'incur' into the Ukrainian defense line near Chasiv Yar and cross the Siversky Donets - Donbas canal.

"Unfortunately, the enemy managed to incur into our defense line, but there is no talk of a critical failure and the loss of Chasiv Yar. Fierce battles are currently ongoing. The situation has been tense for the past month, and there hasn't been a single day when the occupiers didn't try to assault," he noted.

Petrychak noted that the Russian army adapted to weather conditions and managed to cross the canal.

"During the day, it's sunny, and at night and in the evening, it rains, so there was a heavy fog, and the occupiers once again used the weather change to their advantage to cross the canal. Currently, it is blocked, localization work is underway, and now all brigade forces are directed to destroy the occupier in the zone where he is currently blocked. The situation is under control," added the brigade representative.

According to the military, the situation in the responsibility zone of the 24th Mechanized Brigade remains difficult as the number of Russian army infantry exceeds the Ukrainian forces. The RF army also attempts to 'push' towards the front and 'break through' the Ukrainian defense line, as well as shell Chasiv Yar from aircraft, unguided missiles, Grad MLRS, etc., but the defense of the city continues.

Recall that Russia may send military personnel from North Korea to the winter assaults on Pokrovsk in the Donetsk region or to other important front-line areas in eastern Ukraine. This version is provided by The Guardian.

The Kremlin has set new deadlines for its forces: by February 1, 2025 - to regain full control over the Kursk region, as they did not accomplish this by October 15 of this year.
